Hi there! We're Michael and Heather, the two people running things behind the screen. We are two college kids who love each other, the outdoors, a good bowl of mac and cheese, and just about everything in between!

The journey to creating DowDow Designs began in early 2021. Between the pandemic, college, work, and all the stresses of being a young adult in the 21st century, the two of us turned to art and the great outdoors to help us deal with everything going on around us. We both had been playing around with woodworking and wood burning for much of our lives, but we wanted to see if others were as passionate about these crafts as we were. Not to mention that we had both always dreamed of owning a small business, so we decided to bring our passions and dreams to life. We spent a great deal of time considering what we could make, what others may like, and even reached out to others to get their feedback. We ended up creating this shop to share the things we are passionate about, and we hope you enjoy our pieces as much as we do!
